Journal Personnel/Sujet:

Tu aimerais beaucoup avoir un lézard comme animal de compagnie. Il y en a un dans ta classe et tu as lu plusieurs livres qui parlent des reptiles. Tu sais que t'occuper de ce petit animal te ferait plaisir. Ta mère est terrifiée à la simple idée de voir un lézard dans sa propre maison. Quant à ton père, il n'a jamais voulu que tu aies un petit chien, car il croit fermement que tu ne t'en occuperas pas. Tu te doutes bien que pour le lézard, c'est perdu d'avance.

Quels trois arguements pourrais-tu présenter à tes parents afin de les convaincre que l'achat d'un lézard serait une bonne idée? Fais ton travail dans un document word imprime-le, et colle-le dans ton journal personnel.

Book Report- Tic, Tac, Toe

For your Tuck Everlasting book report assignment you must choose three of the following in order to complete a horizontal ,vertical or diagonal line. You must then choose one of the three to present

in class. Be creative!

Board Game- WR Make a board game based on the events of Tuck Everlasting. Make a set of at least 25 game cards, each with a question about the story. Make an answer key on a separate page.	Performing- WR Act out a scene from Tuck Everlasting. With your report include your version of the script.	Comic Strip- WR Using "Bitstrips" recreate your version of a scene or a chapter from the novel.
Book Jacket- Design and publish a book jacket (front and back) that will attract attention and encourage people to pick up the book and read it. Don’t forget to include a quick summary and review (on the back).	Travel Brochure- Make a travel brochure that would entice tourists to visit Treegap. You brochure must include the following: -Features of the area -Places to stay -Activities - Restaurants -A Map of the town. -Anything else of your choice	Litterary Critic- WR Be a literary critic and write a book review of Tuck Everlasting. Include a brief summary of the story and your opinion on the strengths and weeknesses of the plot, characters and writing style. State whether or not you would recommend the novel to others and why.
Diorama- Create a diorama of a scene or chapter from the novel. Include any characters add details from the novel. If you choose this option, be sure to include with your written report a photo or a drawing of your diorama.	Character puppet show- WR Act out a scene or chapter from the novel with your own puppets. Pay attention to details from the novel as you create your characters and your setting. If you choose this option, be sure to include with your presentation a script of "your version" of the scene/chapter.	Poetry- WR Write 5 poems about the novel Tuck Everlasting. You must include one of each of the following poems; -Ha ku, -Diamante - Limerick -Rhyming -Acrostic Each poem must contain figurative language.

Évaluations la semaine prochaine...

Le mardi 17 février il y aura une évaluation sommative en lecture pour le roman "Le Jeune Magicien". Il sera important de revoir le vocabulaire vu en classe ainsi que des questions de compréhension et/ou chapitres non-lus ou non- compris.

Le mercredi 18 février il y aura une évaluation formative en géométrie- Les solides.
Tu recevras une rétroaction afin de pouvoir travailler une prochaine étape pour l'évaluation sommative qui auras lieu le vendredi 20 février. N'attendez pas à la dernière minute si vous avez des questions ou inquiètudes!

Suite à notre évaluation formative je vais remettre l'évaluation sommative au vendredi 13 février. Il est très important de revoir les verbes à l'étude ainsi que ta prochaine étape avant l'évaluation!!!

Évaluations la semaine prochaine

La semaine prochaine nous aurons une évaluation formative le mardi 10 février et une évaluation sommative le jeudi 12 février pour les verbes.

Les temps suivants seront inclus dans les évaluations:

Le présent, le passé-composé, l'imparfait, le plus-que-parfait, le futur simple et le futur proche.

Tu peux te référer aux explications de chaque temps (dans le blog) et tes travaux en classe. Assurez-vous d'être capable de conjuguer divers verbes à ces temps!
